Connections:
Connections is the method of being linked to other people on LinkedIn. A connection is different than a "friend" on Facebook. On LinkedIn, the basic type of connection is a contact whom user know personally and who has a trusted relationship on a professional level with user. LinkedIn does not allow adding complete strangers to user's network.
Call to Action:
In marketing, call to action (CTA) is a concept that give an advertisement's audience a specific request/direction to "do something" immediately, such as visit the site, download an eBook, sign up for a webinar, get a coupon, attend an event, etc. A retail advertisement or commercial without a call-to-action is considered incomplete and ineffective. Call to action phrases use action verbs, like: Sign up, Register, Subscribe, Buy, etc.
Contingency Plan:
In marketing a contingency plan is a set of actions designed to help an organization respond effectively to a significant future event or situation that may or may not occur. A contingency plan is sometimes called "Plan B" because it can be also used as an alternative for action if the original plan does not perform as anticipated. Contingency plan is a component of business continuity, disaster recovery and risk management. If you have a contingency plan in place, you can respond quickly to changes and protect your company against the risk of business and financial damage.
