A/B Testing:

A/B Testing is a technical terminology in marketing and business intelligence. It is also called Split Testing. It is a method of testing for an advertising campaign that involves two different versions of a webpage to see which elicits the best response. It is a method of validate that any new design or change to an element on your webpage is improving your conversion rate before you make that change to your site code. The reaction of the visitor is tracked, whether the visitor leaves the page, stays and read text, or makes a purchase based on what the web page looks like. These reactions are recorded and the results determine which page, page "A" or page "B", will become the new page for the website. Other variables that might be tested using an A/B test include: Links, Images, Headlines, Banner ads, E-mails, Landing pages and many other changeable variables.
